For the Love of Interstellar

A deeply personal 40-minute video essay that blurs the lines between documentary, criticism, and poetic reflection. This project explores my decade-long relationship with Interstellar — from my early obsession to a period of distance, and eventually, an emotional attempt at reconnection on the film’s 10-year anniversary. Shot across multiple locations and stitched with archival footage, self-shot vlogs, and film analysis, the video is designed with a rhythm that mirrors the emotional cadence of the story — both mine and the film’s. This is not just a tribute to a film I love — it’s a meditation on time, memory, and what it means to hold on to a piece of art across years of change.
